Argillopolis is the city trapped beneath the mountain. After hundreds of years of isolation, its inhabitants have finally allowed the outside in. Three years ago, Lazlo Leach entered the city. An orc skilled in tracking he has survived finding what others have lost. However, Argillopolis was not everything Lazlo had hoped, but in order to leave safely he must win the favour of Tobias Hayward. Lazlo’s 'one last job' turns into a twisted web of clues and distractions leading to unexpected revelations. Lazlo is forced to takes sides against a threat to the city he longs to escape.
